The best health care is the care delivered close to home!

Washington County Memorial Hospital Foundation was established in 2004 as a means of support to Washington County Memorial Hospital. Thanks to a team of dedicated professionals at Washington County Memorial Hospital and it’s Rural Health Clinics, lives are saved and patients are able to recover in the comfort of their own community.
As the cost of technology continues to rise, Washington County Memorial Hospital Foundation, through excellent stewardship of the donations received, plans on continually positioning itself to supply the hospital with needed equipment designed to enhance the hospital services. These are items that the hospital budget could not afford otherwise. In addition, there are programs and scholarships that the Foundation can assist the hospital in providing.

Although Washington County Memorial Hospital receives some support through a local property tax assessment, that amount is not enough to match the increasing financial pressure of providing quality health care to our rural services area.
